Crankshaft Position Sensor: Description and Operation
The crank timing sensor is located on the transmission bellhousing. This sensor reads crank shaft position, then sends a signal to the SBEC. The SBEC
uses this signal in combination with the Cam Reference Sensor signal to determine if fuel injectors and ignition coils are sequenced properly.
