Solder the connection together using rosin core type solder only (Fig 5).
CAUTION:
Do not use acid core solder.

Center the heat shrink tubing over the joint and heat using a heat gun. Heat the joint until the tubing is tightly sealed and sealant comes out of both
ends of the tubing (Fig 6).
10.
Insert the newly repaired terminal into cavity 15 of the White C8 IPM connector.
11.
Connect the White C8 connector to the IPM.
12.
Position 1PM into place, and lock into position.
13.
Install the hood cable retaining clip.
14.
Proceed to Step # 1 of: CHECK MODULE PART NUMBER procedure.
CHECK MODULE PART NUMBER:
1.
Using the scan tool, determine if the Memory Heated Seat Adjustable Pedal Module is locked up or non-responsive. Is the Memory Heated Seat
Adjustable Pedal Module is locked up or non-responsive?
a.
Yes >>> continue with Step # 2.
b.
No >>> proceed to Step # 6.
2.
Open the hood and locate the 40 amp cartridge fuse located in cavity 8 of the IPM.
