Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Removal
REMOVAL
NOTE: Before proceeding, See: Service Precautions/Brakes - Caution.
1. Raise and support the vehicle. See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair.
2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor cable (5) connector at the body wiring harness (1). The connector has a locking tab which must be pulled back
before the connector release tab can be depressed, releasing the connection.
3. Remove the wheel speed sensor cable connector from the body (4) mounted clip (2).
4. Remove the speed sensor cable routing clips (3) from the brake tube (6).
5. Remove the wheel speed sensor routing clips (2) from the axle (1) and trailing arm (3).
