Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner - Installation
2.0L/2.4L ENGINE
NOTE: Tensioner arm should move freely and maintain 33-46 lb. tension on belt.
1. Install tensioner pulley and bolt, if removed. Tighten bolt to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
2. Install tensioner assembly (3) to engine and tighten bolt (2) to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
