1. If removed, position the particulate air filter housing (2) to the cowl (4) and install the two retaining bolts (3). Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (70 in.

lbs.).

2. Install the particulate air filter (1) into the particulate air filter housing. Insert the particulate air filter down directly into the filter housing with the

arrow on the filter pointing to the rear of the vehicle. The particulate air filter is held in place by friction between the filter element and the filter
housing and no fasteners are required.

3. Position the windshield washer reservoir and install the three retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (70 in. lbs.) See: Wiper and Washer

4. Install passenger side cowl grille screen See: Body and Frame/Cowl/Cowl Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Cowl Panel Cover - Installation.
