PT Cruiser L4-2.4L Turbo (2009)
15. Attach the pressure hose (1) and routing brackets to the structural collar. Tighten the mounting bolts (2) to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
16. Using a lint free towel, wipe clean the open power steering hose end and the power steering gear port. Replace any used O-rings with new.
Lubricate the O-ring with power steering fluid.
CAUTION: Forward of the steering gear, the pressure hose routes between the front suspension crossmember and the driveshaft. When
tightening the pressure hose tube nut to the steering gear, the pressure hose must be positioned (clocked) such that its final routing
(after tightened) offers 4-10 mm clearance to the front suspension crossmember (measured at the pressure hose steel-to-rubber
coupling). There should be a clocking donut (6) (foam sleeve) on the hose to preset this distance.
17. LHD - Attach the power steering fluid pressure hose (4) to its port on the power steering gear. While making sure the hose is not in contact with
any vehicle components (see preceding caution), tighten the pressure hose tube nut at the gear to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.).
