Air Duct: Service and Repair
Instrument Panel Demister Ducts Replacement
REMOVAL
1. Remove the instrument panel from the vehicle. Refer to: Body and Frame, Interior Trim, Dashboard/Instrument Panel, Service and Repair,
Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement, See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and
Repair/Instrument Panel Assembly

2. Remove the two screws securing the right intermediate demister duct to the instrument panel.
3. Disconnect the right intermediate demister duct from the right demister hose and right demister outlet.
4. Remove the right intermediate demister duct from the instrument panel.
5. Remove the right demister hose from the air outlet distribution duct.
6. Remove the right demister hose from the instrument panel.
7. Disconnect the retainer securing the left demister hose from the instrument panel.
8. Disconnect the left demister hose from the air outlet distribution duct and left demister outlet.
9. Remove the left demister hose from the instrument panel.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the left demister hose into the instrument panel.
2. Connect the left demister hose to the air outlet distribution duct and left demister outlet.
3. Connect the retainer securing the left demister hose to the instrument panel.
4. Position the right demister hose into the instrument panel.
5. Install the right demister hose to the air outlet distribution duct.
6. Position the right intermediate demister duct into the instrument panel.
7. Connect the right intermediate demister duct to the right demister hose and right demister outlet.
8. Install the two screws securing the right intermediate demister duct to the instrument panel. Tighten the screws to 2.3 Nm (20 in. lbs.).
9. Install the instrument panel. Refer to: Body and Frame, Interior Trim, Dashboard/Instrument Panel, Service and Repair, Instrument Panel
