Fuel Injector Installation Service Point
3. Injectors
a. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the 0-ring.
CAUTION: Do not let the engine oil get into the fuel rail.
b. While turning the injector to the left and right, install it to the fuel rail.
c. Check to be sure that the injector turns smoothly. If it does not turn smoothly, the C-ring may be trapped, remove the injector and then re-insert
it into the fuel rail and check once again.

a. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to a new C-ring and insert it to the fuel rail carefully.
CAUTION: Do not let the engine oil get into the fuel rail.
b. If the fuel plate does not move smoothly, the 0-ring may be folded. Then, remove the fuel plate to check the C-ring for damage.
c. Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm (6.5 ft lb).
