Brake Fluid Pump: Testing and Inspection
1. Remove the splash shield
2. Remove the water proof cover.
3. Use a flat-tipped screwdriver to remove the hydraulic unit connector from the hydraulic unit bracket.
4. Connect the battery and check that the sound of the hydraulic unit motor operating can be heard.
CAUTION: Do not apply the battery voltage for more than 1 second.
ABS Relay Check: Checking Continuity Between Terminals
When no current flows:
Between terminals 1 & 10: 30 - 60 ohms.
Between terminals 2 & 11: No continuity.
With current flowing between terminals 1 & 10
Between terminals 2 & 11: continuity (approximately 0 ohms).
