Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Testing and Inspection
Hydraulic Unit Testing

Solenoid Valve Check:  Measuring Resistance Between Terminals

Motor Operation Check:  Checking For Continuity Between Terminals

ABS Relay Check:  Checking Continuity Between Terminals

CHECK

1. Remove the splash shield 
2. Remove the water proof cover.
3. Use a flat-tipped screwdriver to remove the hydraulic unit Connector from the hydraulic unit bracket.
4. Measure the resistance between terminals. Standard value: 1.0 - 1.3 ohms 

WITH NO CURRENT FLOW

Between terminals 4 & 10 should be 60 - 120 ohms.
Between terminals 7 & 9 should be continuity (approximately 0 ohms).
Between terminals 7 & 12 should be no continuity.

WITH CURRENT FLOW BETWEEN TERMINALS 4 & 10

Between terminals 7 & 9 should be no continuity.
Between terminals 7 & 12 should be continuity (approximately 0 ohms).
