Sebring V6-2.5L VIN N (1997)
a. Start engine and hold brake pedal down with a pressure of 196 N (44 lbs.) for 5 seconds.
b. Stop engine.
c. Turn brake disc forward 10 times.
d. Check hub torque to obtain value (B) with spring scale.
e. Calculate the drag torque of the disc brake by equating the difference between hub torque (B) and hub torque (A).
6. If the difference between brake drag torque and hub torque exceeds 4 Nm (35 inch lbs.) or less at 69 N (15.4 lbs.), disassemble piston and clean
the piston. Check for corrosion or worn piston seal, and check the sliding condition of the lock pin and guide pin.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Fill master cylinder with brake fluid.
3. Bleed the brake system. See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair
