CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION TO REPLACE THE COOLANT IN YOUR ENGINE AND IF NECESSARY REPLACE COOLANT
CORE PLUGS
Dear Sebring Convertible Owner:
The satisfaction of our customers is very important to Chrysler. Because of this, we are requesting owners of some 1996 through early-1998 Chrysler
Sebring Convertible vehicles equipped with a 2.5L V-6 engine, to return them to their dealer for a special service.
The problem is...
The engine coolant in your Sebring Convertible (identified on the enclosed form), may not contain a sufficient amount of corrosion inhibitors. As a
result, the engine block and cylinder head coolant core plugs may corrode and leak. Loss of engine coolant may also cause the engine to overheat.
What Chrysler and your dealer will do...
Chrysler will repair your Sebring Convertible free of charge (parts and labor). To do this, your dealer will inspect your engine for coolant leakage. If no
leaks are found, the coolant will be replaced. If coolant leaks are found, all of the engine block and cylinder head coolant core plugs will be replaced in
addition to the coolant replacement. The inspection and coolant replacement will take about one hour to complete. Core plug replacement will require an
additional 7 hours. However, additional time may be necessary depending on how dealer appointments are scheduled and processed.
What you must do...

Simply contact your dealer to schedule a service appointment. Ask the dealer to hold the parts for your vehicle or to order them before your
appointment.

Bring the enclosed Owner Notification Form with you to your dealer. It explains the required service to your dealer.
