Remove the left disc brake caliper from the steering knuckle by lifting the bottom away from the knuckle and then removing the top of the caliper
out from under the knuckle (Figure 11).

Support the caliper assembly with a wire hook. Do NOT let the caliper hang by the brake hose.

Remove the brake rotor from the front hub.

Remove the outer tie rod end to steering knuckle nut. Remove the nut from the tie rod end by holding the tie rod end stud with an 11/32" socket
and then loosening and removing the nut (Figure 12).
53.
Separate the tie rod end from the steering knuckle arm using Special Tool MB991113 (Figure 13).
