13. Separate steering knuckle from outer CV joint by pulling away.
14. Remove cotter pin and nut from upper ball joint to steering knuckle attachment.
15. Remove upper ball joint stud using puller tool No. C3894-A, or equivalent, then the steering knuckle.
16. Mount steering knuckle securely in a vise, then remove three bolts attaching hub/bearing assembly to steering knuckle.
17. Remove hub/bearing assembly from steering knuckle. If bearing does not come out, tap lightly using a rubber mallet.
18. Before installing hub/bearing assembly, clean all mounting surfaces thoroughly.
19. Install hub/bearing assembly in steering knuckle aligning  bolts in bearing flange with hole in steering knuckle.
20. Reverse remaining procedure to install.
