Outside Temperature Display Sensor: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION

The ambient temperature sensor draws voltage from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) on circuit K118. The sensor is a variable resistor. As
temperature changes, the resistance draw in the sensor changes causing a change in current draw. Circuit K118 connects to cavity 52 of the PCM
connector.

The PCM provides a ground for the ambient temperature sensor on circuit K4. Circuit K4 connects to cavity 43 of the PCM connector.
