10. Place the latch assembly (2) upside down on a bench or work surface.
11. Remove the cable (1) from the underside of the latch.
Latch/Decklid Forward Release Cable - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. With the latch assembly (2) upside down on a bench or work surface, connect the cable (1) to the latch as shown. Ensure the Z-fitting on the latch
cable is installed as shown, damage can occur to the cable if not installed properly.
2. Slide the cable (3) into the retainer (1) and install the cable to the cylinder bracket (2) on the cylinder.
