8. Remove the two bolts (2) to each deckbar hinge.
9. Push down on both deckbar cylinder's (2) until they have reached the cylinder stops (3). As the cable assembly (1) moves with the cylinder, the
decklid forward latches will release.
10. With the help of an assistant, remove the deckbar from the vehicle.
11. Transfer all necessary parts to the new deckbar if replacing with a new one.

INSTALLATION
1. Transfer all necessary parts to the new deckbar if replacing with a new one.
2. With the help of an assistant, position the deckbar in vehicle.
3. While aligning the deckbar hinges with the grease pencil marks, install the two bolts (2) to each deckbar hinge.
