Convertible Top Switch: Description and Operation
Power Top Switch - Description
DESCRIPTION
The power top switch (3) is mounted on the instrument panel (4). It is located below the left air vent (1) and to the left of the steering wheel (2).
The switch has three distinct functions:

Top Down - Press the switch to the first detent and release it. The system will lower all fully raised windows approximately two inches, lower the
top to its fully retracted position, and then raise the windows.

Top Down/4 window down - Press the switch to the second detent and release it. The system will lower all four windows and the top to their
fully retracted positions.

Top Up - Press and hold the switch in the Top Up position until the operation of raising the top and latching it is complete, which is indicated by
the system raising the windows and displaying "TOP DONE" in the odometer or "CONVERTIBLE TOP COMPLETE" in the Electronic Vehicle
Information Center (EVIC) (if equipped).
The power top switch cannot be adjusted or repaired. If the switch is damaged or inoperative it must be replaced, See: Service and Repair/Power Top
