Convertible Top Latch Position Switch / Sensor: Service and Repair
Power Top Switch - Removal

Hard Top Panel Latched

REMOVAL

1. Remove the panel to panel latch center pivot assembly (1), See: Body and Frame/Roof and Associated Components/Convertible Top/Convertible

Top Latch/Service and Repair/Folding Top Latch - Removal.

2. Using an 1/8 in. drill bit, drill out the rivets (2) securing the panel latched switch (3) to the panel to panel latch center pivot assembly (1).
3. Separate the switch from the pivot assembly.

Hard Top Panel Unlatched

REMOVAL

1. Remove the panel left latch assembly (2), See: Body and Frame/Roof and Associated Components/Convertible Top/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Folding Top - Removal.

2. Using an 1/8 in. drill bit, drill out the rivet (3) securing the panel unlatched switch (1) to the panel left latch assembly (2).
3. Separate the switch from the latch assembly.
