STEP 1. Check the power window motor (LH) operation.
1. Remove the power window motor (LH). (Refer to 8S, Door Glass and Regulator.)
2. Connect a battery directly to the motor terminals and check that the motor runs smoothly.
Q: Is the power window motor (LH) in good condition?
YES : Go to Step 2.
NO : Replace the front power window motor (LH). The power window (LH) function should work now normally.
STEP 2. Check power Window main switch connector E-12 and front power window motor (LH)connector E-11 for loose, corroded or
damaged terminals, or terminals pushed back in the connector.
Q: Are power window main switch connector E-12 and front power window motor (LH) connector E-11 in good condition?
YES : Go to Step 3.
NO : Repair or replace the damaged component(s). Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. The power window (LH) function should work now
normally.
