Scratch Marks on PRNDL Bezel
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the PRNDL bezel.

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicles built before September 23, 2006 (MDH 0923XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Scratch marks present on PRNDL bezel. The original trim ring did not have standoffs.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the vehicle exhibits the above Symptom/Condition, perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Remove the console shifter bezel using the procedures available in TechCONNECT, refer to 23 - Body/Interior/Shift Bezel - Removal.
2.
Install a new console shifter bezel (p/n 0XS20DSFAC or 0YP17DSFAC) using the procedures available in TechCONNECT, refer to 23 -
Body/Interior/Shift Bezel - Install.
3.
Install a new trim ring (p/n 1AQ36SZ0AB).
