Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
CAUTION: Do not touch the glass of halogen bulbs with fingers or other possibly oily surface, reduced bulb life will result.
1. Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable.
2. Remove headlamp unit retaining screws.
3. Remove headlamp unit to expose back of unit.
4. Disconnect wire connector from back of headlamp.
5. Pull back protective rubber seal.
Headlamp
6. Disengage headlamp bulb retaining clip.
7. Pull headlamp bulb and remove from headlamp unit.
INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Do not touch the glass of halogen bulbs with fingers or other possibly oily surface, reduced bulb life will result.
1. Install headlamp to the headlamp unit and secure with retaining clip.
2. Position protective rubber boot.
3. Connect wire connector to headlamp.
4. Install the headlamp unit.
5. Install headlamp unit retaining screws.
6. Connect the battery negative cable.
