1. Remove console bezel.See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel Bezel - Removal 
2. Remove shift knob and shift bezel.See: Shifter Bezel - Removal See: Shifter Bezel - Removal 
3. Remove two fasteners (6).
4. Remove four fasteners (5)
5. Disconnect console housing wire connector (7) and instrument panel connector (1).
6. Pull parking brake rearward.
7. Remove center console from vehicle. 

Shifter Housing - Installation

INSTALLATION

AVENGER

1. If equipped, connect center console housing wire connector (5) with instrument panel connector (1).
2. Place console housing (7) over shifter lever (3) ensuring console tabs seat properly.
3. Install four screws (9) in the console compartment.
4. Install two screws (8) in the front of the console.
5. Install console bezel See: Console/Service and Repair/Center Console Bezel - Installation.
6. Replace shift bezel and knob See: Shifter Bezel - Installation.
