Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Engine Mount Insulator - Installation
Left
INSTALLATION
1. Position mount to mounting bracket.
2. Raise transmission into position with floor jack.
3. Install the four vertical bolts (1). Torque fasteners to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove floor jack and wooden block.
5. Install the air cleaner housing assembly.See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Air Cleaner Body
- Removal
6. Connect negative battery cable.
Rear
INSTALLATION
1. Position rear mount (3).
2. Install the 4 lower mount to cradle bolts (2) and torque to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Install 3 top mount bracket bolts and torque 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
