Disconnect the body wiring harness (A) from the pull down motor (B) (FIGURE 1).
5.
Drill out the ground strap rivet (FIGURE 2).
6.
Drill a 5/32 in. hole in the pull down assembly frame as shown in Figure 2.
7.
Install the relay (C) and ground strap (D) on the pull down assembly (E) using the screw provided.
8.
To prevent the relay from rattling, make a foam pad (F) 10 mm x 40 mm x 50 mm (0.394 in. x 1.574 in. x 1.969 in.) and place it under the relay
(C) as shown in Figure 1.
9.
Install the pull down motor harness-to-relay wiring harness between the motor and the relay.

Connect the battery.

Connect the pull down motor harness to the body harness and cycle the motor to verify operation.
12.
Check the position of the pull down mechanism to insure it is 4 mm (5/32 in.) down from the deck lid extension (See FIGURE 2). If the
adjustment is incorrect, adjust it by loosening the pull down mechanism retaining screws, position the pull down mechanism and tighten the
retaining screws.
13.
Stow the convertible top in the storage well.
14.
Install the hard top and check the pull down system again.
