If you find a different value than specified, clean sensor then loosen adjustment screw and bring the sensor into contact with the brass feller gauge.
Hold the sensor in this position, tighten adjustment screw to 2.4-3 Nm (21-27 in. lbs.).
CAUTION: the gap between sensor and tonewheel must be measured In at least two or three different points around the tonewheel.
The new wheel speed sensors that are used for service are always provided with calibrated cardboard spacers. To adjust the gap, you need only to
loosen the adjustment screw and position sensor head against the tonewheel. Tighten screw to 2.4-3 Nm (21-27 in. lbs.). Rotate wheel to remove
cardboard spacer.
