The Proportioning Valve is located under the floor pan and is connected to the rearwheel braking circuit. To remove it, loosen the clamp and
terminals and the brake lines, hold the proportioning valve with an open-end wrench.

CAUTION: Once the valve Is moved, immediately protect the brake fluid passages by plugging them.

When you install the valve be sure to mount it in the proper direction, making sure the arrow stamped on the Valve body points toward the rear
wheels.
