Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Door Glass And Regulator
ELECTRIC REGULATOR REMOVAL
1. Remove door trim panel.
2. Remove the watershield.
3. Prop glass one inch from "Up" position.
4. Disconnect battery negative cable and the regulator motor wiring harness.
5. Remove regulator mounting screws and slide regulator roller off of glass lift channel.
6. Remove regulator assembly through access hole in door.
7. Remove motor from regulator.
INSTALLATION
1. Load regulator assembly through access hole and engage regulator roller with lift channel.
2. Secure regulator to door panel with four screws. Make sure they are torqued to 10-18 Nm(90-115 inch-pounds) and do not interfere with
regulator operation.
3. Connect regulator motor wiring harness and the negative battery cable.
4. Connect the power regulator operating switch, and test the glass system for proper operation.
5. Install the watershield and trim panel.
