THIS SERVICE BULLETIN IS ALSO BEING RELEASED AS RAPID RESPONSE TRANSMITTAL 10-084. ALL APPLICABLE SOLD AND
UN-SOLD VIN's HAVE BEEN LOADED. TO VERIFY THAT THIS SERVICE ACTION IS APPLICABLE TO THE VEHICLE, USE VIP OR
PERFORM A VIN SEARCH IN TECHCONNECT. ALL REPAIRS ARE REIMBURSABLE WITHIN THE PROVISIONS OF WARRANTY.
HELP USING THE wiTECH DIAGNOSTIC APPLICATION FOR FLASHING AN ECU IS AVAILABLE BY SELECTING "HELP" THEN "HELP
CONTENTS" AT THE TOP OF THE wiTECH DIAGNOSTIC APPLICATION WINDOW.
THE wiTECH SOFTWARE LEVEL MUST BE AT RELEASE 11.02 OR HIGHER TO PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE.

Flash: MIL Illumination
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software.

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicle equipped with a 3.6L engine (sales code ERB) equipped with a 62TE 6 speed automatic transmission (sales code
DG2) built before December 13, 2010 (MDH 1213XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may experience a MIL illumination. Upon further investigation the Technician may find that any of the following Diagnostic Trouble
Codes have been set.

P0344 - Camshaft Position Sensor Intermittent - Bank 1 Sensor 1
-
P0349 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent - Bank 2 Sensor 1
-
P0369 - Camshaft Position Sensor Intermittent - Bank 1 Sensor 2
-
P0394 - Bank 2 Camshaft Position Sensor 2/2 Circuit Intermittent
DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (wiTECH) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify all engine systems are functioning as
designed. If DTC's other then the one listed above are present record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this
bulletin.
