Ignition on, vehicle in reverse.

Set Condition:
No rear picture is displayed on radio with the vehicle in reverse.
1. VERIFY OPERATION OF THE RADIO AND BACKUP LAMPS
1. Verify the operation of the Radio and Backup Lamps.
Do the Radio and Backup Lamps operate correctly?
Yes
-
Go To 2
No
-
Diagnose any problems with the Radio and Backup Lamps.

Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Diagnostic
Trouble Code Tests and Associated Procedures/Verification Tests/Body Verification Test.
2. (L1) BACKUP LAMP SWITCH OUTPUT CIRCUIT
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Disconnect the License Plate/Rear Camera Assembly Harness Connector.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. Shift the vehicle in to reverse.
6. Measure the voltage of the (L1) Backup Lamp Switch Output circuit.
Is battery voltage present?
Yes

Go To 3
No
