1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Open the sliding door.
3. Remove the mounting fasteners (2).
4. Remove the bezel (1).

Interior Door Handle Bezel - Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Install the interior handle bezel (1).
2. Install the mounting fasteners (2).
3. Close the sliding door.
4. Connect the battery negative cable.

Inside Handle Cable - Removal

REMOVAL

NOTE: For power sliding door procedures refer to POWER SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM.

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the appropriate side door trim panel from the vehicle. See: Sliding Door Interior Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Door Trim Panel -

Removal

3. Remove the door module assembly. See: Service and Repair/Carrier Plate - Removal.
4. Disconnect the inside handle cable from the handle assembly. Gently pry cable sleeve retainer out of the handle bracket and then unhook swedged

cable end from the handle.
