PARTS REQUIRED:

NOTE: 

4 Washers are needed for each latch bracket.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1.

Remove the sliding door scuff plate on the right and/or left side. Refer to the detailed removal procedures available in DealerCONNECT >
TechCONNECT >: Service Info > 23-Body > Interior > PLATE, Scuff, Sliding Door > Removal.

2. Remove the bolts shown in (Fig. 2 ) number 1 to slightly lower the latch bracket.

3. Stack two washers and install them between the floor and the latch bracket at each bolt location (Fig. 2 ) number 2.

4. Re-install the latch bracket bolts and verify the sliding door will latch in the full open position by opening and closing the door 5 times.

5. Re-install the sliding door scuff plate. Refer to the detailed installation procedures available in DealerCONNECT > TechCONNECT > : Service Info

> 23-Body > Interior > PLATE, Scuff, Sliding Door > Installation.

6. Return the vehicle to the customer
