1. Remove the third row seat from vehicle and place it on a workbench upside down in the folded position. See: Service and Repair/Removal and

2. Remove the retracting leg shields (2). See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seats, Third Row, Stow-n-Go/Seat Leg Retracting

3. Remove the cable end clip (2) from the front leg (1) by prying up on the base of the clip with a screwdriver or other flat bladed tool (3).
4. Remove the pulley (1) located at the front of the seat.
