NOTE: Outboard side shield shown. Inboard side shield similar.
3. Remove the recliner handle (1) by pulling it straight forward and off the lever that protrudes through the outboard seat cushion side shield (4).
4. Remove the two screws (3 and 5) that secure the each seat cushion side shield to the seat (2) and carefully remove the side shields.
Second Row, Swivel - Lower Swivel
REMOVAL
NOTE: Outboard side shield shown. Inboard side shield similar.
1. Remove the seat from the vehicle and place it on a workbench.
2. Remove the screws (2 and 6) that secure the front and back of each seat side shield (1) to the seat riser (3).
3. If servicing the outboard seat side shield, remove the two screws (4) that secure the shield to the seat riser directly behind the pivot release handle
(5) and remove the shield.
4. If servicing the inboard seat side shield, disengage the two retaining tabs that secure the center of the shield to the seat riser and remove the shield.
Second Row, Stow-n-Go
REMOVAL
1. Remove the seat cushion side shields from the side of the seat being serviced See: .
2. With shield in the down position, carefully lift shield vertically to disengage the two plastic clips from the rods located on the cushion frame and
on the riser.
3. Using needle nose pliers, lift the spring leg upward to disengage it from the rear rod on the riser and remove the shield.
