Town & Country V6-3.8L (2009)
Precautions/Warning and See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service Precautions/Caution. Failure to follow the warnings and
cautions may result in serious or fatal injury.
NOTE: 4.0L engine shown. Other engines similar.
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Refrigerant System Recovery.
3. On models equipped with the rear heating-A/C system, disconnect the A/C suction line from the underbody suction line See: A/C Underbody Lines
- Removal.
4. Remove the air cleaner housing and inlet duct from the engine compartment.
5. Remove the nut (4) that secures the A/C suction line (5) to the A/C compressor (3).
6. Disconnect the A/C suction line from the A/C compressor and remove and discard the O-ring seal and gasket.
7. Remove the bolt (1) that secures the A/C suction line (3) to the right front frame rail (2).
