Ball Joint: Service and Repair
Front Suspension Lower Ball Joint - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle. See: Wheels and Tires/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair
2. Remove the wheel mounting nuts (3), then the tire and wheel assembly (1). See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Tires and Wheels - Removal.
3. Remove knuckle. See: Front Steering Knuckle/Service and Repair/Front Steering Knuckle - Removal.
4. Remove the ball joint dust boot (1).
