Hood Latch Striker

Removal

REMOVAL

1. Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the position of the striker (1) on the hood to aid installation.
2. Remove the bolts (2) and remove the latch striker/safety catch (1).

Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Install the striker (1) and install the bolts (2).
2. Line up the striker (1) with the marks made on the hood previously and tighten the bolts (2) to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.)
