1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the armrestSee: Armrest - Removal.
3. Remove the plastic seat back coverSee: Seats/Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Back Cover - Removal.
4. Using a 1/4 inch drive swivel socket and extension, remove the three screws (1 and 3) that secure the armrest bracket (2) to the seat back frame

(4).

5. Disengage the J-hooks that secure the inboard side of the seat back cushion cover to the rear of the seat back frameSee: Seats/Seat Back/Service

and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Back Cushion / Cover - Removal.

6. Position the seat back cushion cover to gain access to the armrest bracket and remove the bracket.

Armrest Bracket - Installation

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Left seat shown. Right seat similar.

NOTE: Illustration shown with seat back cushion and cover removed for clarity.

1. Position the armrest bracket (2) to the seat back frame (4)
2. Install the three screws (1 and 3) that secure the armrest bracket to the seat back frame.
3. Reposition the inboard side of the seat back cushion cover and engage the J-hooks that secure the cover to the frameSee: Seats/Seat Back/Service

and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Back Cushion / Cover - Installation.

4. Install the armrestSee: Armrest - Installation.
5. Install the plastic seat back coverSee: Seats/Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Back Cover - Installation.
6. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

Armrest Rotating Assembly - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Remove headrest and headrest sleevesSee: Seats/Head Rest/Service and Repair/Headrest Sleeve - Removal.
2. Remove both armrestsSee: Armrest - Removal.
3. Remove the seat back panelSee: Seats/Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Back Panel - Removal.
4. Disengage the J-strap (1) from the seat back.
