Sunroof / Moonroof Windguard: Service and Repair
Installation

INSTALLATION

INCLUDING FRONT HINGES

1. Position the spring arms down into the trough.
2. Place wind deflector arms in upward position engage the wind deflector blade into the U-frame.
3. Seat the retaining clips (2) fully.

NOTE: Right side shown, left side similar.

4. Position the wind deflector clips into the frame at the detent and secure outside of clip then the inside of the clip fully.
5. Verify wind deflector operation.
6. Install the sunroof assemblySee: Service and Repair/Installation.

WITHOUT FRONT HINGES

7. Position wind deflector assembly (1) into the roof opening (2) and slide forward to the mounting point in the U-frame.

NOTE: Right side shown, left side similar.

8. Position the wind deflector clips into the frame at the detent and secure down into the channel fully.

NOTE: Placing a small rolled up piece of paper or equivalent, between the hinge and the sunroof opening may aid installation of the wind
deflector.

9. Position the front of the wind deflector over the front hinges and seat down onto the retaining clips fully.
