8. Disengage the J-hook retainers (1) that secure the seat cushion cover (2) to the bottom of the seat cushion frame (3).
9. If equipped, disconnect the wire harness connector from the heated seat element and remove the wire harness (4) from the rear of the seat cushion
(5).
10. Remove the seat cushion and cover from the seat cushion frame as an assembly.
11. Using a hooked tool (4), disengage the retaining strips (1) from the clips (3) that secure the seat cushion cover (2) to the seat cushion (5) and
remove the cover.

REMOVAL
NOTE: Right seat shown in illustrations. Left seat similar.
1. Remove the seat from the vehicle and place it on a workbench.
2. Remove the seat side shieldsSee: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Side Shield - 2nd Row Swivel - Removal.
3. Remove the seat cushion side shieldsSee: Seat Cushion Side Shields - Removal.
4. Remove the seat backSee: Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Back - Removal.
5. If equipped with heated seats, remove the two screws (2) that secure the electrical contact (4) to the outboard seat riser (3) and disengage the wire
harness retainers (5) from the riser and the pivot mechanism (1).
