Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the power sliding door drive assembly,See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Sliding Door/Power Sliding Door Drive

Assembly/Service and Repair/Power Sliding Door Drive Assembly - Removal.

3. With the power sliding door drive assembly (2) on a work bench, disconnect the power sliding door control module (1) electrical connectors (3).

4. Remove the power sliding door control module retaining screws (1) and separate the module from the drive assembly (2).

Installation

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Any time a power sliding door component is removed, replaced, door adjustment is performed or diagnostic trouble codes are
addressed and erased, a learn cycle must  be performed. The power sliding door learn cycle enables the power sliding door control module to learn or
relearn critical information (travel limits, resistance to door travel, door position, etc.) which allows the system to perform properly and safely. See:
Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Sliding Door/Service and Repair/Procedures for the appropriate procedure.

1. Position the power sliding door control module onto the drive assembly (2) and install the retaining screws (1).
