SECOND ROW - SWIVEL

WARNING: To avoid serious or fatal injury during and following any seat belt or child restraint anchor service, carefully inspect all seat belts,
buckles, mounting hardware, retractors, tether straps, and anchors for proper installation, operation, or damage. Replace any belt that is cut,
frayed, or torn. Straighten any belt that is twisted. Tighten any loose fasteners. Replace any belt that has a damaged or ineffective buckle or
retractor. Replace any belt that has a bent or damaged latch plate or anchor plate. Replace any child restraint anchor or the unit to which the
anchor is integral that has been bent or damaged. Never attempt to repair a seat belt or child restraint component. Always replace damaged or
ineffective seat belt and child restraint components with the correct, new and unused replacement parts listed in the DaimlerChrysler
Mopar(R) Parts Catalog.

1. Remove the second row swivel seat unit from the vehicle.
2. Remove the seat back and seat back hinges (1) from the seat cushion (4) as a unit.See: Body and Frame/Seats/Seat Back/Service and

3. Remove the push-in plastic fastener (3) that secures the seat belt (2) lower anchor to the outboard side of the seat cushion frame.

4. Remove the seat back trim cover and cushion from the seat back frame (3).See: Body and Frame/Seats/Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Seat Back Cushion / Cover - Removal.

5. Remove the two screws (2) that secure the shield (1) over the seat belt retractor on the front of the upper outboard corner of the seat back frame.
6. Remove the retractor shield from the seat back frame.

7. Remove the screw (3) that secures the seat belt retractor on the back of the upper outboard corner of the seat back frame (1).
8. Lift the retractor upward far enough to disengage the retractor tab (2) from the keyed slot in the seat back frame.
9. Remove the second row swivel seat belt and retractor from the seat back frame as a unit.
