Town & Country V6-4.0L (2008)
OUTER TIE ROD
1. Place front wheels of vehicle in STRAIGHT-AHEAD position.
2. Raise and support vehicle.See: Wheels and Tires/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair
3. Remove wheel mounting nuts (3), then tire and wheel assembly (1).
4. Loosen tie rod jam nut (3).
5. Remove nut (1) attaching outer tie rod (5) to knuckle (2) by holding rod end stud stationary while loosening and removing nut with a wrench.
6. Release outer tie rod end (3) from knuckle (1) using Remover (1), Special Tool 9360.
7. Remove outer tie rod from inner tie rod threads. Count how many rotations it takes to remove outer tie rod for installation reference.
