6. Remove the screws fastening the brake shield to the steering knuckle, then remove the brake shield (Figure 3).
7. Remove and discard the wheel speed sensor retaining bolt (Figure 4).
8. Carefully pull the wheel speed sensor from the bearing housing (Figure 4).
9. Push in on the end of the halfshaft stub shaft, pushing its splines out of the hub splines.
