6. The half shaft is spring loaded. Compress inner half shaft joint slightly and pull downward to clear rear differential output flange. Then pull half

shaft assembly outward to remove (Fig. 3).

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the outer CV joint stub shaft through the hub bearing (Fig. 4).
2. The half shaft is spring loaded. Compress inner half shaft joint slightly and push upward until the inner CV joint flange engages the rear 

differential output flange.
