If the seat cushion cover is being reused, cut off and discard all wires attached to the inside surface of the seat cushion cover (Figure 4).

If the seat cushion cover is not being reused (burned or discolored), discard it and use a new cushion cover for the remaining steps.

With the foam cushion in the upright position, route the wires attached to the new heating elements through the hole in the foam seat
cushion. Bond the new heating element onto the top of the foam as shown in Figure 5.

CAUTION:

During the installation of the new heating element, be careful not to fold or crease the element assembly.
