Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Release hood latch and open hood.
2. Remove air cleaner resonator. Refer to the Fuel System for the proper procedure.
Speed Control Cable End
3. Disconnect throttle and speed control cable ends from throttle body.
Speed Control Cable
4. Depress lock tabs holding speed control cable casing to cable mount bracket.
5. Remove tie wrap holding vacuum line, throttle cable, and speed control cable together.
6. Remove nuts holding speed control cable case to servo.
7. Remove cable case from servo.
8. Remove hair pin clip holding cable end to servo diaphragm.
9. Remove speed control cable.
INSTALLATION
1. Install speed control cable to servo.
2. Install hairpin clip holding cable end to servo diaphragm.
3. Install cable case to servo.
4. Install nuts holding speed control cable case to servo.
