NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO LONG WHEEL BASE (LWB) VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AUXILIARY REAR A/C OPTION.
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Poor A/C system cooling performance.
DIAGNOSIS:
Check for low refrigerant charge and inspect the connection of the A/C underbody refrigerant lines to the rear auxiliary A/C unit. If refrigerant is
detected at the connection, perform the repair procedure.

Gasket, Underbody Refrigerant Line
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves installing a revised underbody refrigerant line gasket.
1.
Recover any residual refrigerant in the A/C system.
2.
Disconnect the A/C underbody refrigerant lines from the rear auxiliary A/C unit.
3.
Inspect and clean the A/C plumbing surfaces that contact the gasket. Do not scratch the surfaces.
4.
Install the revised gasket, P/N 4798270. This gasket is rubber coated stainless steel.
5.
Evacuate and recharge the A/C system using the procedure outlined in the appropriate Service Manual.
