Fuel Accumulator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1.

Fuel system pressure release must be performed prior to service.  See: Fuel Filter/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair

Ignition Coil Packs

2.

Disconnect the DIS coil pack electrical connector.

3.

Remove the 4 DIS coil pack mounting bolts and remove the coil pack from the engine.

4.

Disconnect the fuel return line Quick-Connect fuel fitting by pushing in on the black retainer ring located at the end of the fitting.  Slide fuel fitting
off of the chassis fuel tube.
WARNING:  Wrap the fuel lines with a shop towel so that any spilled fuel will be absorbed.

Coolant Temperature Sensor (View With Coil Removed)

5.

Disconnect coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
