THIS REPAIR IS COMPATIBLE WITH DAIMLERCHRYSLER'S MOBILE SERVICE PROGRAM AND DOES NOT REQUIRE HOISTS OR
OTHER FULL SERVICE FACILITY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT.
1.
Examine underside of new compensation flap and ensure the spring is positioned into its mounting tab as shown in (Fig. 2).
2.
Hold compensation flap in horizontal position and snap into cupholder retaining tabs.
3.
Operate flap several times to ensure proper operation. Flap should fold downward with little effort and spring back to a horizontal position when
released.
